The base price is for our mount kit only, select the appropriate options if you'd like to include the TRZ C6 Steering Rack Kit and/or the firewall flange support bearing for the steering shaft with your order.  Select both options for the most bolt-in manual rack conversion available for the C6 platform.  Please note the steering rack kits will drop ship directly from TRZ Motorsports and may have a processing time of 2-3 business days prior to shipping.

Anyone who has built a big power C6 knows how annoying removing the factory rack is. It has hard-to-reach fittings that can only be loosened 1/4 turn at a time and the rack must be completely removed any time you need access to the front of the motor. The manual rack is lighter weight and allows more clearance around the front of the engine. The entire rack can be removed in minutes, with easily accessible fasteners. 

This kit is intended for use with the TRZ-Motorsports “C5-C6 Specific Length - Pinto Rack” for the C6 Corvette. We used their complete rack kit which includes the steering shaft, u-joints, and tie rods with various spacers. The steering shaft will need to be cut and fitted by you due to various turbo manifold and header configurations.  

The driver side mount bolts in the mounting ears that held the factory rack. The passenger side mount requires drilling three holes in the crossmember. The installation of these mounts takes roughly 30 minutes, on top of the time needed to install the rack. 

The TRZ C6 Corvette manual rack kit includes:  Custom length pinto style rack, bump steer kit, 1 smooth u-joint, 1 splined u-joint, shaft adapter and steering shaft tubing - For use with Kaizenspeed Rack Mount kit for stock crossmember
